All writing on this site is by Joel Pomerantz unless otherwise indicated.

I chose the "jig" theme because of its playful connotations ("to dance and skip about"), and its vaguely subversive connotations ("a scheme, as in 'the jig is up'"), but also because the title-bar definition fits my philosophy of action ("a contrivance to guide a tool, a template to work to").

I love direct face-to-face work with people to facilitate personal and systemic change, but I believe the systems and infrastructures determine the universe of possibilities. These structures and systems are the "jig."

Aside from my work represented on this site, there are a few other strange things I do for pay, play or barter.
